Mass-Tech Controls has bagged a big order of 200 nos of 240 KW DC Chargers, for charging of Electric Vehicles, to be installed in cities across India.
These cities are Jhansi, Agra, Mathura, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjanpur, Lucknow, Gorkhpur, Varanasi, Aligard, Prayagraj, Rajkot, Kanpur, Kolkatta, Bhuvneshwar and Delhi NCR.
Around 7000E buses are planned over 3 years between 2020 and 2023.
Department of Heavy Industries has also sanctioned 5000 buses for intra city operations in 64 cities through the State Transport Authority along with 400 E buses for intercity operation and 100 for last mile connectivity to Delhi Metro.
These EV Chargers will be installed at the bus depots and will fast charge the buses during the idle time that the bus will spend at the depot, where the bus usually stops for a longer period of time so that the range can be extended considerably without any impediments to the operating procedure.
Through our strategic partner, Panasonic Life Solutions India Ltd., Mass-Tech will be providing advanced 240KW chargers to PMI Electro Mobility Solution Pvt. Ltd./ Photon, China, who are gearing up to supply 1000 e buses to 18 cities across India.
Mass-Tech Controls Pvt Ltd., has added another feather in it's cap by bagging a big order for supply of Motor Control Centers and LCPs. This order has come from ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor).
ITER is a collaboration of 35 developed nations namely USA, Russia, South Korea, China, Japan, European Union and India. This is a project to create a miniature Sun on Earth in France, for generating unlimited supply of clean energy from a non-polluting source.
The temperature of the source, which will be created by fusion of hydrogen atoms, will be similar to that of the Sun. For this, L & T India is making the world's largest stainless steel vacuum chamber weighing almost 3,800 tons and height which is half that of Qutub Minar, will encase the entire vacuum vessel and the superconducting magnets ensuring ultra cool protective environment, capable of maintaining a temperature of minus 200°C.
Through L & T, Mass-Tech has executed an order for 15 nos MCC Panels and 4 LCPs. ITER has also directly placed an order of 4 MCCs, which will be used for the project.
These panels have been extensively tested at ERDA, Vadodara for the following parameters :-
Considering the severe environment, the panels have been tested against seismic conditions.
Using 12 pulse switching scheme, Mass-Tech have supplied 6 nos of 24V 676A and 4 nosof 220V 118A battery chargers with DCDBs
These chargers too conform to various IEC Standards for EMI/EMC, Electrostatic Discharge Immunity, Surge Immunity and Fast Transient tests. Have been tested to the most rigorous standards for Electrical Noise Immunity.
